Been there before. Well run hotel. Adults only. Mature clientele who return year after year.

Unfortunately partner and I were unaware that a side sea view room does not get any sunshine on the balcony.( 517 ). If we were to pay £400 = extra ( minimum 4 days) we could be upgraded to a pool view with sunshine ! We paid upfront £2700 = for 10 nights half board which should carry key advice about lack of sunshine to balconies ( admission )!

Had a wonderful holiday. Our only complaint is that the food could be hotter , always was rather cold. Not the salads obviously ????

Second stay here, using the UP facility. Booked through hotel and so had included taxi transfers! Our room overlooked the pool and sea from the sixth floor which was lovely. Room was looking a little dated, and we were disappointed to find a bath with overhead shower instead of a walk in cubicle. Food wasn't as good as previous visit. We found it lacking in variety and even had to pay for beer, wine and water which were included previously. We enjoyed our stay but probably won't return as we feel we can better value elsewhere.

In response to your reply below that said “if we had let your hotel staff know then they would have tried to find a solution”. We raised this with your staff during our first night 23 and also raised my partner is pregnant and impossible to sleep in the bed with no pillow and rock solid.

Your staff advised nothing can be done without paying more.

We are in fact staying until the 29th of March if you would like to find a solution as you advised everyone below.

Old, dated rooms with rock hard beds. Have to pay extra for a proper bed pillow, have to pay extra to use the safe in room - over rated and not worth the money. Very disappointed

Room was great with lovely views. Range of food was excellent to start with and staff were very good. It became apparent as the week went on that some food was running out so don't eat after 7.30pm to avoid this. Desserts were very poor. Drinks were a little expensive compared to local prices and fresh coffee was poor.
Everywhere was clean and the hotel is in a good location. Easily 4 stars but for the pool area.
The hotel goes to great lengths to advertise the fact that you cannot reserve sun beds. It's in the app and it's on the notice boards as you enter the area. Pool opens at 10am so we go out only to find all the pool side beds have towels on with no one to be seen. All the sun beds that are in the early sun have towels on them. All the empty beds were in the shade. If you're going to have a policy, you should enforce it. Reason for two stars is that when it was brought to the managers attention, she said they do enforce it. This was not true. Having been there all week, not once did the lifeguard whose job it was to clear the unattended beds between 9-10, actually did it. He spent more time watching tv on his phone than doing his job. It's accepted behaviour and it spoilt our pool days. Given that there is no beach, this was important. The hotel needs to do better.

The hotel is very charming. The night shows are very good and great fun, especially the Soul duo on Tuesdays. We hope to come back soon!

We loved the hotel. Very impressive atrium lobby. The rooms were well maintained. The pools were really nice, and cleaned most evenings as far as I could see. Plenty of sunbeds during our stay.

A very well maintained hotel. The decorator was working his way around the corridors and the gardeners were working all the time.

The food in the restaurant was very good for both breakfast and dinner. Food was kept warm in the main, with plenty of choice. Meat and fish cooked fresh every evening and the egg station was well used every morning, with omelettes made to order along with fried and poached eggs. We rarely eat in the hotel every evening but we did on this holiday. My only gripe would be they are slow to remove dirty plates from the table and seem to concentrate more on setting up for the next meal service. Perhaps they need more staff in the restaurant.

We enjoyed our stay and if we went back to Los Cristianos we would certainly stay here again.

Hi. We are thinking about booking flights and the Gran Arona seperate. You can book the hotel but payment is made on arrival. Was just wondering if anyone else has done this ?
