This cave (Shpella e Gadimës) is also called the "marble cave" (Shpella e Mermerit, Mermerna pećina). Carved into a massif of marble (metamorphosed limestone) from the Mesozoic (252/66 million years old), it was discovered in 1966 and has only been partially explored so far. The accessible part is 580 m long and the visit is carried out in spartan conditions. There are beautiful red or brown rocks here, due to the presence of iron oxide, crystals in formation, stalactites and, also, bats.
