ZÁDIEL CANYON (ZÁDIELSKA TIESŇAVA)

The Zadiel Canyon (Zádielska tiešnava), classified as a nature reserve since 1986, extends over a length of 3 km. On average 10 m wide, it is surrounded by high walls that reach more than 250 m. From the village of Zadiel, a short but spectacular hike is possible following the path marked in red. Once at the top, it is possible to continue by taking the path marked in blue which leads, after a superb walk, below the Košice road.
