HARMANECKÁ CAVE (HARMANECKÁ JASKYŇA)

To reach the entrance of the cave, you have to follow a well-marked path, and it takes about 40 minutes to walk up. The visit lasts 1 hour and covers 1 km of gallery. In this cave, the most remarkable elements are the Mondmilch, a kind of white and soft limestone, and two stalagmites in the shape of pagodas of 12 meters high. It is also home to one of the most important colonies of bats in the country.
