RÉSERVE ARCHITECTURALE DE BRACHYLAN

In the heart of the Strandzha Park, in a beautiful green area, the village of Brachlyan is composed of picturesque wooden houses built from the ^17th to the ^19th century, typical of the Strandzha Mountains. Almost abandoned in the ^20th century with the rural exodus, it has not been modified in modern times and was declared a reserve in 1982. The ^14th century church of St. Dimitri, built on a Thracian sanctuary, is remarkable. There are also many chapels and dolmens in the area.
