Tvrđava Greben
This fortress, founded in the century, is now in ruins. But it offers fine views over the Vrbas, next to Krupa na Vrbasu.
This fortress (Tvrđava Greben/Тврђава Гребен) is also in ruins and also perched high up on a rocky spur, 350 m above sea level. It's located just south of the village of Krupa na Vrbasu (26 km south of Banja Luka). It is an ancient fortified village created in the 12th century. It came under the control of the Croatian Bans in the 14th century, then the Ottomans in 1527, and was transformed into a fort and prison. The site retains a round tower and a section of the ramparts leading down to the Vrbas. Once again, the views are breathtaking.
