This carving workshop near Lough Ree is owned by Michael Casey and his son Kevin, renowned artists with a touching personality. They create unique sculptures from old wood, about 6,000 years old, buried under deep bogs, called bogwood. Their work reveals the hidden expressions of the wood and allows these primitive forms to speak to the public. Objects with a certain Celtic mystique to them.
