LA PIEDRA PINTADA
The "Painted Stone" is a rock covered with petroglyphs. These symbolic drawings carved into the stone are said to represent the map of the region and tell the story of the16th-century resistance of the valley's Indians against the Spanish. But there is still no certainty as to the meaning of these petroglyphs. Continuing on, we see three waterfalls (in the rainy season), then the Piedra del Sapo ("Toad Stone"), with a petroglyph the size of a hand. The main India Dormida trail passes through Piedra Pintada and Piedra del Sapo.

Attention ça glisse pas mal sur la fin du sentier, surtout comme lors de notre passage après la pluie du matin assez abondante, chaussure de randonnée nécessaire, pas de sandale si possible.
