GRAND RASSEMBLEMENT DES ETHNIES MINORITAIRES

The national holiday is the occasion for a large gathering of ethnic minorities on the Môc Châu plateau (in Son La province, 200 km northwest of Hanoi). The Môc Châu district is home to 12 different ethnic groups, including Tay, Dao, Lao, Kho Mu... The Tay and Hmong are the most numerous. The gathering aims to promote the development of tourism with the organization of cultural activities and an agricultural produce fair.
