Tourist agency organizing boat trips to observe orcas and whales off the Juan Islands

Captain Tom Averna has been organizing, through his tourist agency, boat trips to observe killer whales and whales off the San Juan Islands for more than 30 years. A former scientist, Tom Averna has meticulously trained his team to be able to give a lot of information about the fauna and flora of the Sound. Very educational and fun. The company provides several daily departures from Deer Harbor (1pm) and Rosario Resort (11am and 3pm) during the season. A tip, bring your binoculars!
