Since 1998, the owners of the restaurant, Charles Dalton and Jasmine, have been delighting the people of Orcas with their Asian-influenced recipes, made with products from the island. They work closely with the farmers of Orcas and prepare delicious dishes to enjoy on a tiny terrace or to take away for a picnic. For example, The Kitchen offers Maple Rock Farm Salad with sesame seeds, candied cabbage and smoked salmon, fried rice with shrimp, or chicken teriyaki.
