Guided tours are conducted by a local guide and a forest ranger. Price: 10,000 FCFA for both. The park is considered one of the oldest tropical rainforests in the world. A veritable museum of flora and fauna, the park contains over 400 species of trees and some 161 species of mammals (primates, elephants and even leopards). Less and less visited due to the geopolitical context of recent years, the park has long been one of the region's major tourist attractions.
