Access 4 km south of the town of Beaufort West. A magnificent park extends over 73 000 ha of hills and open Veld. A great experience for those who want to live close to nature; the Karoo here is Martian, as if burnt from the inside. Numerous antelopes, mountain zebras, rhinos, buffalos and lots of foxes. The Springbok Hiking Trail is a three-day, 41km trek with a summit at 1900m. For a short visit, we recommend the Fossil Trail, next to the camp, which presents 400 m of fossilized bones of giant reptiles that roamed the area 200 million years ago.
