MESOHORI

The small village of Mesohori is sandwiched between the mountains and the coast. A balcony overlooking the Aegean and the west coast, it offers magnificent panoramic views and a sumptuous sunset. Park at the village entrance (or hike from Lefkos!) and climb up to the monastery. Here you'll find a sacred spring: it's said that women who drink this pure water will be married to a Karpathiote. Take a break at the Dramountana tavern. It offers splendid views of the sea and is the ideal place to watch the sunset.
