The bay of Livadia, 2 km south of the peninsula dominated by the fortress of Chora, resembles a vast garden with orange trees, vines and flowers. This small seaside village offers a few seaside tavernas, where it's very pleasant to go for lunch or dinner, as well as a handful of hotels and studios that will appeal to holidaymakers looking for direct access to the beach. You can enjoy a pleasant swim in the wide bay, with views of the Venetian fortress, or take the roads that lead to the beaches in the south of the island, including the beautiful beach of Aghios Konstantinos or, more difficult to reach, the beach of Vatses.
