TAPIR VALLEY

Private reserve of 220 ha located at about 20 minutes drive from Bijagua. This tropical rainforest is protected by Donald Varela, a bird guide (from Casitas Tenorio), Melvin Rodriguez and their families. Tapir Valley is a place of great beauty, preserved from mass tourism. The visits are accompanied. The morning outings are more for bird watching and flora observation, while the night outings allow you to see insects, reptiles, amphibians, and perhaps the famous tapir which wanders mostly at night.
