J.T. CHEESEMAN PROVINCIAL PARK

Located about ten kilometers from the Port aux Basques pier, where the ferries to Nova Scotia depart and arrive, this park is famous for its superb beach, Cape Ray Beach, which stretches along the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Many other activities can be practiced on the spot such as hiking, biking, bird watching, etc. It is also possible to camp there from mid-May to mid-September (approximately 90 sites).
