BASIN HEAD FISHERIES MUSEUM

This historical museum is located on a beautiful site overlooking a small harbor, next to a beautiful sandy beach and dunes, a stone's throw from the Northumberland Strait. It is entirely dedicated to inshore fishing and the life of fishermen in the past. Boathouses house various models of boats and there is also an old cannery. A craft exhibit and gift store are also on site.
