The Pineapple Man on the corner, a literal translation of the name of this little stand, tells you right away what you're going to find here: a local preparation based on pineapple, the famous Trinidad chow. Accompanied by a variety of spices, each of which prepares its own unique blend, the pineapple is also enhanced by a type of local plum(salt prune or salt plum, depending on the region). If you like chilli, you'll find it here, but be careful, it can be a little too strong for our European taste buds!
