Beautiful temple dedicated to the King of the Serpenrs, a must-see for the festivities celebrated there, including Ayliyam, a 2-day festival

This beautiful temple is dedicated to the King of Snakes. Ayliyam is a two-day festival celebrated in the temple with great religious fervor. On the second day, at noon, the Ezhunnallathu (royal exit) ceremony takes place, when the idol of Nagaraja is carried by the priests and led to the temple in a procession. A large crowd of devotees participate, with urili (vessel) and colorful umbrellas, and chant full-throated songs to the glory of the snake god.
