This museum located in the historical center is a true jewel of popular baroque architecture built in 1801.

This museum was created in the Capela de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, in the historic center, a veritable jewel of popular Baroque architecture built in 1801. It takes visitors on a "journey through the history of salvation", with some 150 items collected from all the surrounding parishes: furniture, statues, paintings, pictures, jewelry and, of course, objects of worship. The artistic treasures on display are divided into six thematic areas: the Passion, the Nativity, Martyrs and Saints... The splendor of Christian art, according to connoisseurs.
