The Campo Maior Folk Festival consists of decorating the streets of Campo Maior with paper flowers made by the locals. Months and months of hard work and boundless enthusiasm go into their preparation. Thousands of flowers, roses, tulips and poppies create a colorful spectacle. To the rhythm of tambourines, castanets and street dances, an entire village is covered in paper, and the days and nights are filled with enchantment.
