Natural hot springs south of Bouillante with a bathing basin, others north of Bouillante.
The commune of Bouillante is dotted with natural hot springs both at sea and inland. Some of these springs are accessible from the seaside at Thomas, a few kilometers south of Bouillante. You can bathe in a small basin where 55°C thermal water mixes with seawater. Other natural hot springs can be found north of Bouillante at Bain du Curé, Cascade Paradis, bain des Amours, bains jaunes, eaux chaudes de Sofaïa and in the sea around îlets Pigeon.

Bienfaits d'une eau naturellement chaude dans la mer
A Thomas, il faudra patienter car le bassin aménagé est petit. Le plaisir de se baigner dans une eau chaude sortie de la terre et qui se mélange à l'eau de mer vaut le détour! Sinon il y a l'eau de l'usine (propre) qui se jette dans la mer dans le bourg de la ville... moins naturel mais agréable!

La source d'eau chaude "Thomas" est super car le bassin est naturel (entre les pierres) et donne sur la mer (nous étions allé évant à la source du curé mais peu engageant) L'eau chaude se mélange à l'eau de mer. C'est très chaud et très agréable mais il y a du monde, beaucoup de locaux à l'heure du déjeuner. C'est vraiment sympa de profiter de ce bassin avec une vue magnifique sur la mer.

The swimming pool, cemented basin, must fill it, not tempting… . The one of small anse: Good! It's in the thickness of the sand that you smell the hot current.
