The black sand can be surprising and it can burn the soles of the bare feet of non-experienced visitors... Indeed, the grains of sand, resulting from volcanic erosion, heat up quickly under the sun. This seaside, paradisiac and popular with tourists, is lined with small wooden huts offering water activities (diving, glass-bottomed boat). The small Creole huts serve delicious bokits and other West Indian culinary specialties. Malendure is a must-see spot in Guadeloupe because it is a nature reserve.

Vue imprenable sur Pigeon en pleine réserve Cousteau. Les yeux avisés pourront voir des tortues en restant sur la plage. Des lolos et des boutiques pour tous les goûts. Un choix énorme d'activités nautiques. Des douches pour se rincer. Seul bémol sur cette plage, le stationnement devient très vite acrobatique....
