In the very south of the island, the village of Mukut still offers a traditional way of life, focused on fishing. Tourism is slowly developing here, with modest accommodation offering basic comforts. Small-scale resorts are gradually taking over the area and capturing the coves. This is a destination for water sports enthusiasts, but not for divers. People come here to kayak, swim and fish in an idyllic, unspoilt setting. It's also the starting point for jungle hikes to Asah Falls and the Dragon Horns. From the summit, the view of the island and its transparent waters is fabulous.
