REJANG ESPLANADE

A pleasant walk along the Rejang River, Malaysia's longest river, the esplanade stretches from the Kingwood Hotel to the express boat terminal for almost a kilometre. Not far from the hotel, you can't miss the Swan Statue , the emblem of Sibu. You will also find other swan statues in the city, including Lin's Swan Park. This symbol would come from the first Chinese migrants whose Rejang River reminded them of the Swan River in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian in southern China.
