This manor house, situated in a green setting, dates from the end of the 15th century. The Mottier family, owner of the site, has been welcoming visitors to this heritage site for forty years and offers several accommodation solutions: bed and breakfast, lodge (6 rooms, 14 places), campsite, mobile home. The manor house is ideally located 4 km from the Forges de Varenne, on the edge of the GR 22 and at the start of many hikes. Since the place is close to the Voie verte, the Véloscénie as well as the Vélo Francette, a climbing site, a fishing spot, etc. Original: on this feudal site, archaeological excavations permitted to discover many shards that allowed the reconstitution of a 29 cm high ewer (jug formerly used for water or milk). The little smart extra: the family produces cider and farm perry as well as calvados, don’t hesitate to ask for more information.
