Located on the road leading to the sacred Keerimalai water springs, this colorful temple is not to be missed! It is guarded by a giant 22-metre-high statue of Hanuman, the monkey-god of the Hindu pantheon, known here as Anjaneyar. This contemporary temple is also worth a visit for its attractive murals. Every Saturday, devotees flock here to pray to Hanuman. Men must remove their shirts, and photos are not allowed inside.
