The Plaza de las Artesanías de Progreso is not a market where you will find unique handicrafts or pieces that have taken months of work. Since Calle 80 is mainly frequented by groups of American tourists, it sells mainly T-shirts and souvenirs. Nevertheless, you can still find some nice bags from the Chiapas region and hand-embroidered bathing suits. At the entrance to the market, women offer massage services at interesting prices, but for privacy, forget it!
