ZONA ARQUEOLÓGICA IHUATZIO
A site that stands out among others for the presence of a unique architecture known as huatziri in Ihuatzio.
Delimited at the far end by two small twin pyramids, the foundations of the houses, the public structures and the storage spaces were built with lauzes (small flat stones). It is possible to climb up the side walls to see the remains of the archaeological area that has yet to be explored. The site is distinguished by, among other things, the presence of a unique architecture known as huatziri, or raised terraces and pavements.
