Place located on the Yarahuato mountain, hosting the most important remains of the Tarascan civilization in Tzintzuntzan.

This "place of the hummingbirds", located on the mount Yarahuato overhanging the current village and, in the distance, the lake, accomodates the most important vestiges of the Tarasque civilization: a platform of 400 meters for 250 meters broad on which are set up in succession five Yacatas, semicircular structures dedicated to the divinities of the five parts of the local cosmogonic universe. The walk is nice, as well as the visit of the museum of the site which exposes very beautiful pieces.
