Limbenii Vechi is located between Limbeni Noi and Ustia. The village is mentioned for the first time in a document dated 14 October 1649. The locality is not very large and there are few attractions on the spot. It has a stadium, a market, a small park and a lake. In the south of the town there is a memorial park and the Ustia Lake. The wooden church of the Holy Trinity dates from the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th century and is very well preserved. It is situated south of the Limbenii Vechi Lake and is quite easily noticed in the village. Other old wooden churches also remain in the area of Dondușeni, Drochia and the rest of the country.
