THE BLUFF VIEW ART DISTRICT

Bluff View Art District is a historic district of Chattanooga, most of the houses perched atop the cliffs of the Tennessee River, between the Veterans Bridge and the Hunter Musuem of American Art. Over time, the district has become a popular place by the artists and then tourist development requires, by the locals and visitors. Cafés, restaurants, an art gallery (The River Gallery), historic bed & breakfast (The Parkhotel House, The Martin House and The Thompson House, grouped under the name Bluff View Inn), gardens, squares and outdoor courtyards where you can stroll and relax before going through the nearby Walnut Street Bridge.
