Bluff View Art District is a historic neighborhood in Chattanooga, with most of its homes clinging to the bluffs of the Tennessee River, between the Veterans Bridge and the Hunter Museum of American Art. Over the years, the district has become a popular spot for artists and, as tourism has developed, for locals and visitors alike. Cafés, restaurants, an art gallery (The River Gallery), historic bed & breakfasts (The Maclellan House, The Martin House and The Thompson House, grouped together under the name of Bluff View Inn), gardens, squares and outdoor courtyards where you can stroll and relax before crossing the nearby Walnut Street Bridge.
