Bass Pro Shops, under the aegis of the Bass Pro chain specializing in outdoor activities, occupies a large part of what was originally built (1991) to be a large multi-sports complex. Since 2014, the pyramid has housed several levels of shops (most of which are run by Bass Pro: camping, boating, fishing, diving, hunting...) as well as a 103-room hotel (Big Cypress Lodge), a fishing village in a recreated swamp with live alligators, a gigantic aquarium, a 13-lane bowling alley, several restaurants, including one located at the top of the building (at a height equivalent to that of 32 floors) with panoramic views over the city... A glass-walled central elevator takes you up to the viewpoint. A pleasant shopping or relaxation outing, even for families.
