SLUGBURGER FESTIVAL

Slugburger, a local specialty of the south, is a hamburger made of a galette made of beef or pork and soya, fried in oil. Slugburger is served on a small bread with mustard, gherkins, onions, and is accompanied by French fries. Although served in other (and rare) locations in northern Mississippi, it is in Corinth that its success is the greatest. Every year is a festival for his honour. Two days of festivities in the city with a competition of singers: Idol Idol Slug.
