One of the oldest castles in Alsace, located above the lower town of Ferrette.

Ferrette castle is known as one of the oldest in Alsace. The lower town nestles at its foot. Don't hesitate to take a stroll with your nose in the air to soak up its history! The church of Saint-Bernard-de-Menthon, a listed historic monument, is the starting point for a walk that leads to the ruins of the castle and the grotte aux Nains. Once every two years, Ferrette returns to medieval times for a knights' feast!
