Fresh Air Barbecue is an institution in the region. Here is a barbecue, a real, fashionable south and accompanied by coleslaw. Although the frame has nothing to do with the original establishment, it is a real delight. Those who prefer a more authentic exterior will go to Fresh Air barbecue, first of the name (1164 Hwy 42 South - Jackson) located 50 minutes northwest of Macon, halfway with Atlanta. They will find a wooden hut with a room that smells of smoked wood, a thinly sprinkled terrace with sawdust and giant barbecues, where you can cook kilograms of pork very slowly.
