The BMW Zentrum de Greer is the visitor centre for the famous German car manufacturer. It is located west of Spartanburg County, next to the BMW Perfomance Center and the only BMW factory in the United States. The BMW Zentrum features a museum that showcases the history of the brand, its technological innovations and, of course, its models. There is also a conference centre, a cafeteria and a shop.
The industrial site (to which Spartanburg's name is often associated) produces roadster and all-terrain vehicles. The factory began production in 1996 with Series 3 models and the Z 3 roadster. BMW later preferred to dedicate the site to the production of Z models (roadsters and cut) and X-all-terrain models. To date, the manufacturer produces all X models for the world market in Greer. The United States is the manufacturer's first market.
With regard to the BMW Performance Center, the training courses (speed and all-terrain, auto and bike) should delight those who have strong sensations. A unique experience with nearly 20 monitors available, mainly for groups.
