THE DUNES GOLF & BEACH CLUB

Golf course

The Dunes Golf and Beach Club is a golf complex located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Opened in 1949, it is considered the second oldest golf course in the region. The club is renowned for offering an exceptional golfing experience and has been ranked number one by Golf Digest, Golf Magazine and Golfweek. It has also been included in Golf Magazine's list of the "100 Best Courses in the U.S." and Golfweek/Golf & Travel's list of the "100 Best Classic Courses in America". The course features a classic layout with A-1 bentgrass greens offering a fast, smooth playing surface. Hole 13, nicknamed "Waterloo", is particularly famous for its risky turn around Singleton Lake. The club has hosted several golf championships, including six Senior PGA Tour Championships, a Women's US Open and several PGA Tour Q-School finals. The Dunes Golf and Beach Club also offers practice facilities, world-class golf instruction, beachfront dining and guest locker rooms.
