You don't need to be a certified diver; you just stay in the water during the shark's passage, and the cage is not completely submerged. If you're not sure, you can stay on the boat, where you can also watch the sharks from the upper deck.The swell is quite strong, which can turn even the most fragile stomachs inside out, but the spectacle is still impressive.
