Its main missions are to welcome, protect, produce and employ. The site also contains a wealth of information on the island's natural heritage.

beau sentier de l'ONF
ONF permet l'entretien des sentiers de la Réunion entre autres.
Le sentier de l'ONF à St Denis, qui va de la Providence jusqu'au village du Brûlé est un sentier d'entraînement pour le Trail, très joli, belles vues par endroits sur St Denis.
