Gite located in the middle of the garden welcoming hikers since 2003.

Mireille and Jean-Marie, the former letter carrier of Mafate, have been welcoming hikers since 2003. The jackfruit tree stands proudly in the middle of the garden. Around it, the farmyard comes alive with the first rays of sunshine. Sleeping accommodation is provided in 2 buildings: on the one hand, the chalet, with 2 double bedrooms and 2 dormitories with 4 bunk beds. On the other, the large building with a 4-bed dormitory, a 6-bed dormitory and an 8-bed dormitory, with three shower rooms. All very basic, but clean and well-kept. Towels not supplied. Table d'hôte available on reservation.

Un super accueil au Gîte Le Jacquier par l’ancien facteur de Mafate en personne.
Nous nous sommes régalés pendant le dîner et les chambres étaient très confortables.
Une belle soirée pleine de discussions et d’anecdotes ! Encore un moment hors du temps au cœur de Mafate ! ⛰️

Chambres assez spartiates , accueil non -chaland, pas ou peu de souplesse, pas de sens commerçant ( ptit dej a 7 h 15 sans assiettes ni verres, check out à 8 h - check in à 15 h 30, impolitesse
repas sans produits frais) ...

Gîte fonctionnel, dortoir avec lits superposés, 2 salles d'eau avec eau chaude, 2 WC séparés. Repas avec 2 caris. Petit déjeuner correct mais pas de produit maison, dommage.
Situé à 2 pas d'un magnifique point de vue sur Cayenne et les montagnes en arrière plan !
