This is an address that we leave with regret. And yet the beds made by the NFB are tiny and the bungalows not much larger (rooms for 2 in bunk beds or dormitories for 8). But Jacqueline Morel is something we love. The kitchen first. … fruit chips, fresh fruit juice, brèdes favourites, fresh pancakes for breakfast… A treat. And then the reception, then. Because Jacqueline and her husband have a communicative happiness. Not to mention this amazing cascade rumour in the distance, which prevents you from closing the door of the bungalow by leaving, despite the mosquitoes…

Pour le reste, Mme Morel vous accueillera avec peu de chaleur même le semblant d’attention sonnera faux. Le repas, servi dans une salle très bruyante, ne fera pas honneur à la cuisine réunionnaise. Les bungalows jadis très jolis ne sont pas du tout entretenus, les bardeaux partent en lambeaux. La construction vous permettra de partager tous les bruits des chambres annexes. Vous prendrez soin de faire vos lits dans des chambres exiguës encombrées de vos affaires posées au sol. Enfin le petit déjeuner vous fera comprendre qu’il est temps de partir.
