Halle aux grains (grain market) on the main square of the Perche capital, where cereals were sold, and an entertainment venue with a cinema.
It’s a must-see! Located not far from the town hall, the "halle aux grains" stands in the main square of the Perche capital. Built between 1822 and 1825, the building had several functions: grain sales on the first floor, a cloth market and a theatre upstairs. Today, the hall continues its entertainment function, with the Etoile cinema installed in the former theatre hall, accessible via a large wooden staircase. On the first floor, no more grain but books: the mediatheque has its quarters here.
