HAMPTON JITNEY

This bus company offers three lines serving the eastern tip of Long Island, with destinations Montauk, Westhampton (South Shore) and North Fork (North Shore). A total of about thirty cities are served. There are departures every day of the year, although trips are less frequent in the low season. The starting point in Manhattan is at the intersection of 40th Street and 3rd Avenue. Known to all New Yorkers, the bus even made an appearance in an episode of Sex & The City, in which the heroines will spend the weekend in the Hamptons.
