MAKUTI TRAVEL LODGE

This hotel is located on top of the hill overlooking the Chirundu road. It consists of a few bungalows and modest rooms with panoramic views of the Zambezi Escarpment. As the lodge is not far from the protected area, it is an excellent place to stop for a cold drink or a bite to eat before entering Mana Pools National Park or before heading to Kariba Town. The gas station next to it is closed, so it is best to buy gas in Chirundu, Karoi or Kariba.
