CURIO MARKET

The Curio Market, located behind Elephants Walk shopping center, features small stores selling Zimbabwean handicrafts, mostly batik, masks, bracelets and local pendants. It is also the place where stone carvers come to display their sculptures on the ground. Purchases are perhaps a little more expensive than at the market because they rent their space, but negotiation is still possible. Prices are still much higher than in Harare, but if you don't go there, you have a good opportunity to buy some here.
