Banff Lodge, upstream from Hillside Dams and away from the town center, offers a very pleasant setting: family atmosphere, green lawns, palm trees and a lovely pool. Rooms have been renovated and feature double or twin beds, antique furnishings and modern decor. The establishment organizes special evenings and sometimes invites live bands. The restaurants have tempting menus, and the New Orleans, open in the evenings, has forged a reputation for itself in Bulawayo's restaurant scene.

Visiting from South Africa. Excellent establishment. Rooms clean and neat. Restaurant a gem.

A lovely little gem in Bulawayo. Slightly expensive for a basic room, $100 per room overnight is excessive. I would suggest it should be aiming at $50 to $60. Beautiful gardens, lodge cats, tropical fish.
