CAFE 1 ELEVEN

Formerly Green Coucal Café, this restaurant-cafe was taken over in 2015 by the new, very welcoming owner. There are beautiful tables in a relaxing setting open to the garden in summer. This well-regarded cafe among Mutare residents attracts customers with breakfast, a light or full meal, or just coffee, tea, fresh juice, ice cream or cake. Although it serves a lot of beef and chicken, the establishment gives special attention to vegetarians. A good address in a pleasant setting, not far from downtown.
