The National Gallery in Harare was established in 1957 from a collection of European works to which African works were added. Sculptures are displayed inside and in the gardens; paintings and a multitude of African art objects are found on the ground and upper floors. The visit is as interesting as it is instructive, revealing some of the lesser-known aspects of African traditions. The gallery also organizes numerous workshops, films, lectures and hosts temporary exhibitions throughout the year.

Pas grand-chose à voir, mais intéressant

Pas grand-chose à voir. Quelques peintures italiennes et zimbabwéennes, des sculptures, des robes, des objets d'art moderne. C'est pourtant intéressant à voir si vous avez du temps libre, en plus l'entrée n'est pas du tout chère.
Il y a un petit magasin de souvenirs dedans où l'on peut trouver un peu de tout : des sculptures, des aimants, des livres, des bijoux, des bibelots, etc.
